Program Needs

As the services provided at Havendell expand, so do the needs for improving facilities. At the same time, we are trying to keep our fees at a minimum so more people have the opportunity to participate! If you would like to donate any new or used items from the list below, please contact us and let us know. Also, on a limited basis, we may be able to swap lessons, a 4-H lease or Day Camp sessions for materials or labor.

Landscaping supplies:
Shrubs, trees, perennials, flower bulbs, ornamental grasses, railroad ties, hardwood mulch, planters.

Lumber:
Treated and untreated 2x5x10, 4x4x10, 4x4x12, and 1x4x10, telephone poles (whole or in sections)

Fencing:
Metal t-posts and wooden fence posts, rolls of 5 ft. wire fencing, privacy fencing sections, chain link fencing.

Labor:
Backhoe and trench work, mowing.

Miscellaneous items:
Drain tile, outdoor light fixtures, saddles, bridles, PVC pipe, conduit, sand, gravel, outdoor wire, fill dirt, baled or bulk wood shavings for bedding, used horse jumps, trail equipment, benches, playground equipment, tents.

Equipment:
Manure spreader to pull behind 4-wheeler, dump cart to pull behind 4-wheeler, 2-horse trailer.
