Instructor

CHA certified instructor Tara Wohlenhaus brings twenty-five years of equestrian experience, a love of horses, and her passion for horsemanship education to the riding program at Havendell Farm. Tara loves teaching children, but also has a special affinity for adult beginners and adult returning riders.

In addition to her own lesson programs, Tara is the Horse Camp Program Director for Camp Allendale in Trafalgar, Indiana. She is also the author of "Horse Camper" - a journal and activity book for youths participating in a week of horse camp (available online soon). Tara was also the Technical Editor for the soon to be released book "Horseback Riding For Dummies".
